Meet Maggie

I’m Maggie and I’m so glad you found your way to my corner of the internet.

Words have always been my thing. They’re the balm to a broken heart, affirmation for a job well done, and a bridge over stormy seas. They can put flesh to our feelings and help us find our way.

There are few things apart from words that have the ability hold my attention.

One of those is a rustic, bearded, worship leader named Will. He’s the sweet to my sour, the smooth edges to my jagged corners, and the calm to my chaos. He is my living proof that God gives us things we don’t deserve.

Next is all things social justice. I believe that all people – regardless of race, gender, political stance, or theological opinion – are created in the image of God. The result is that all people should be afforded simple things like compassion and equality. And as God calls us to be the kingdom come, an overwhelming part of that looks like loving people in low places. It means doing justice.

Last, and never least, is Jesus. He has wrecked my life in all the best ways. I don’t think I’ll ever get over being his girl, and I don’t want to. He is so good, y’all. And he surrounds me with grace upon grace.

If you’re new around these parts, I hope you’ll stay a while. Jack Johnson had it right when he said we’re better together, and I believe that’s true for this little space too. Let’s do this together, y’all.

For some background, I suggest starting here:

I Love Your Spots

Confession: I am the Hulk

  1. Maggie,
I think this is wonderful. God has blessed you so much, and may He continue to do so. Love you, Tom Avret

  2. Hi Maggie! I just found your blog and have enjoyed the posts I’ve read. I’m a fellow INFJ. It’s always great to find those, since we’re so rare. 😉 I actually went to Moody and came in as a freshman with you, although you probably don’t remember me! I had to do a double take, but I’m pretty sure I remember you. Anyway, thought I’d say hi! Would love to connect further, if you’d like.

  3. I just read the above comment…I’m an INFJ also 🙂
